personality: A real mama with a backbone, Lenora is the Gym leader of Nacrene City, and is very intelligent and wise. Admirably brave and dedicated to her work, Lenora is the best in her field. A real motherly-type woman, she’ll help anyone out in need to the best of her ability. Not to mention she loves to test the intelligence and strategy of those around her. She is always there to stand up for what’s right and defend those in need.
background: Born the daughter of museum curators, Lenora has always had a fascination with art, history, and learning in general. Surrounded by vast knowledge in her youth, Lenora grew up a very studious and intelligent woman. In her early adult years, she parted from home to explore the world and follow her dream of becoming an archeologist, wanting to share the discoveries and mysteries of the past with the world. On one of her many expeditions, she met a man named Hawes. And with the two sharing a love for history and fossils, and each other, it was an honest to goodness love at first sight experience.

The bravely back-boned Lenora and timid Hawes eventually married, bringing a whole new happiness into Lenora’s life. But world-wide expeditions being a little too much for her cowardly husband, Lenora dubbed it was time to bring what they learned back home and settle down, so they could spread the joy of the past together. Earning the place of Unova’s Normal-Type Gym Leader, Lenora achieved her dream of sharing her discoveries with her home country. After years of the same routine, Lenora became restless and eventually earned a job at the Tancho Academy, so thrilled she could share her tales of traveling the world and her knowledge of archeology with the youth who craved it.
